Don't Miss Our Upcoming Events:
We are soooo blessed to have the Cleveland Art Museum in our backyard. Did you know that the Museum has an amazing and extensive collection of Christian art? Because the museum’s collection is organized chronologically, the beautiful Christian pieces are sometimes difficult to pick out. Brian Upton, a friend of Seeking Stillness and Executive Director of Building Hope in the City engages regularly with Christian art as a spiritual practice (learning about its history and engaging in viseo divina). He will be the leader for our museum walk on February 1st.
The museum admission is free, but we are collecting $25 per person to cover our costs and to bless Brian with a donation to Building Hope. We will meet at the museum at 10:30 and engage with the art until 1:00. We can then either stay in the museum for more browsing, go on with our day, or group up and take advantage of the great restaurants in the University Circle area.
Sometimes a pause is good for the soul. It gives us the chance to regroup, reflect, and refocus on God. In "Pauses for Lent", Trevor Hudson offers a beautifully minimalist book in which he focuses on one word for each day of Lent. You are invited to pause, focus on the word, read a scripture and a brief meditation related to the word, and then offer a prayer.
Pausing in this way will help you carve out time for God and refresh your spirit even in the midst of a busy life. You may find yourself sensing God's presence in a new way and discovering that God wants to meet you in the midst of your life as it is, muddles and all.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Individuals will be officially registered for a retreat (and massage if applicable) or other event on the day when their registration has been received in full. Registrations will be processed in the order received until all slots in the retreat/event have been filled. Generally, a maximum number of registrations will be set for each retreat/event and a final date for registration will be established and communicated. Individuals whose registrations are received after all slots have been filled will be put on a waiting list and notified accordingly.

Every attempt will be made to accommodate those who need to cancel. If cancellations occur before the registration deadline (two weeks before the event) the person who needs to cancel will have the choice of transferring their registration to an upcoming retreat/event or be refunded their payment minus a $10 processing fee. After the registration deadline (within two weeks of the event) refunds/transfer to another retreat /event will only be available if there is a waiting list for the retreat/event. Refunds of paid massages will not be available within the last two weeks before a retreat either unless there is a massage waiting list.
