For centuries those desiring a closer relationship with God have spent times with Him in silence. In Psalm 46 we are encouraged to “be still,” yet this is very challenging in today’s busy world. In this weekend retreat we will explore the role of silence in our spiritual journey and actually spend some extended time seeking the Lord in silence.
Seeking Stillness retreats are typically not silent retreats. However, we will spend all day Saturday of this weekend in silence, with structured support tools. This is a retreat tailored to the needs of those who have practiced stillness in the past – either individually or through other retreat experiences.

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21
When we place our faith in God it often leaves us asking: “So now how can I tell what God wants me to do?” Christians have been asking this question for centuries and while Scripture tells us that God does sometimes speak audibly, often He moves us in other ways.
At this retreat we’ll dig into scripture, explore what we learn, listen to God, and come up with our own answers. Hopefully, we’ll also all hear from Him that day.
