About Us

Seeking Stillness is a ministry started in 2010 to provide opportunities for busy people to spend time with God.  By investing in their personal relationship with God individuals served by the ministry – by attending retreats, participating in workshops, completing self-guided activities, and volunteering – are growing spiritually and developing their abilities to lead others into a deeper relationship with the Lord.

“Seeking Stillness retreats have given me confidence in my understanding of God and how important it is that we are not intimidated or inhibited when ministering to others.”

Romana Meadows, Retreat Attendee

Seeking Stillness sponsors one-day and weekend retreats throughout the year for groups of men and women.  Opportunities are also provided through the year for people to connect to online devotionals, workshops, and community gatherings.

What We Believe

  • The Bible is God’s true and inspired Word to us.
  • Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Savior, redeemer of our brokenness and of our bible-1850859_1920broken world.
  • The Holy Spirit is the teacher and guide Christ left with us when He ascended into heaven.
  • God showered His grace upon us by sacrificing His Son Jesus and creating a way for us to live eternally with Him.
  • Salvation is given to all those who profess faith in God and is never revoked.  We are all sinners and by God’s grace we are saved.
  • Prayer is the tool God has given us so that we can have a personal relationship with Him.
  •  Our relationship and time with the Lord enlivens and strengthens us to do the work He has planned for us to do.
